******This contest is now closed.  Thank you to all who entered!  I will announce the winner Monday Morning! ************

I am so excited to announce our very first giveaway here on Love, Milk and Honey!  Lisa Raser of Ink & Button has graciously designed and hand crafted a one of a kind fascinator just for YOU!  Lisa and I met through twitter and after a peek into her etsy shop I knew she and I were meant to be friends.

Why did you start Ink & Button? I have always enjoyed opportunities to be creative, but planning my wedding last May really re-sparked my crafty side!  I became a total DIY bride and loved every minute of developing new projects for the wedding.  I hand stitched my bridal bouquet (as well as my six bridesmaid bouquets) out of felt and vintage buttons.  It took our whole engagement to complete this project, but I love the results!  My wedding bouquet now sits in a lovely apothecary jar in our dining room.  After the wedding, I started playing with some new designs of felt flowers and began to create hair accessories!  I opened my Etsy shop this past November and my shop has turned into such an unexpected blessing!  I love creating beautiful pieces for women to wear and I love doing custom orders.  I think the next step for Ink & Button will be custom boutonnieres!

Tell us a little about you! My husband and I got married in May of 2009 and SO much has changed for us in the last year!  We moved from my hometown of San Diego, CA to Illinois so that I could complete a PhD program in Speech Communication.  I teach public speaking skills to college students!  My husband is a singer songwriter and we are also starting a photography business together called Derren Raser Photography.  We absolutely love being married and traveling together as much as we can.

What are 3 things you absolutely cannot live without? my husband, good thai food, and my MacBook.

What inspires you to create the pieces you do? Finding the perfect vintage button at an antique store completely inspires me!  I will bring it to my desk of all-things-crafty and start to pair colors, fabric and sometimes ribbon or feathers around it, and an Ink & Button fascinator is inspired!

Tell us a little bit about the fascinator you made for Love, Milk & Honey. Creating a unique piece just for Love, Milk & Honey was such an honor, so thank you!  I gathered the inspiration for the fascinator from the colors in your lovely blog!  The vintage yellow and pearl button is a unique find from an antique store in Kansas City.  The fascinator would be a lovely spring addition to any wardrobe – either worn in the hair or clipped to a dress or purse!

And without further adieu… here is the beautiful piece you can win:

Here’s how to enter:

You may enter up to three times.  First, visit Lisa’s Etsy shop, Ink & Button, take a gander (at the for sale and already sold pieces), and come back here and leave us the name of your favorite find in the comments.  Second way to enter, Twitter about this giveaway and mention @luvmilkandhoney in your tweet.  And Third, answer this question in the comments:  What is the one accessory you cannot live without?

This giveaway will end on Friday, April 2nd at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.  I will make the announcement of the winner, chosen at random, on Monday morning, April 5th!

Good Luck!
